A 100% FLASH SITE Bad idea! People LOVE 100% flash websites because they are so wonderful in the way they morph and move. BUT...the search engines have problems reading the content. Content is extremely important to your ranking and search protocol. I LOVE flashsites for movies, huge products that have millon dollar ad campains and don't really have to worry about leading the public to their site. Coca Cola can use a 100% flashsite, but most of us need excellent SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION! SO... what I recommend to my clients that really love flash is: We use large areas of flash mixed with a lot of robot friendly html. This way you get the best of both worlds! You keep the "HUMANS" interested with the eye candy, and you keep the "SE ROBOTS" happy with the readable coding! |
